Real stories. Real results.

At Ryzer Hockey, we don’t just talk about development — we deliver it. But don’t take our word for it. Hear directly from the players and families who’ve experienced the difference. From first-time clinic attendees to signed junior hockey players, to college-bound prospects — their stories speak to the impact of personalized advising, elite coaching, and a clear path forward.

Progress isn’t just about playing the next level — it’s about getting there with clarity, preparation, and the right support. At Ryzer Hockey, advancement means more than moving up a roster, it’s about guiding players through every phase of their journey.  Whether you're aiming for juniors, NCAA hockey, or the pros — we’re here to help you take the right steps, at the right time, with confidence. Below is a list of hockey players we have helped advance through the ranks throughout the years

“As hockey parents, it’s difficult to know the process of junior hockey, or to get your child the exposure they need to move onto Junior and Collegiate hockey. Once we started working with James and the RHA team, that all changed. The relationships they have with coaches and scouts at all levels, is remarkable. For years now, they have opened up doors, educated us on the process, and helped guide our son into his best opportunity each season.  RHA is persistent with the mental toughness side of the game, proper nutritional guidance, and body management throughout the full year. The professionalism and open line of communication 24 hours a day is fantastic, it's not often you can get ahold of somebody at the late hours of the night, or early mornings before work! We are having an amazing experience, and are excited to see what the next Chapter "College" brings."

Both our son and daughter attended the Ryzer Training camps and the results have exceeded expectations! The conditioning was outstanding, the key differentiator resides in how it ties directly to the unique physical needs for a specific application, such as hockey, although it can be quickly and easily modified to suit other athletic needs. Throughout the highly organized training regimen, the players were continually updated on how the training would advance specific skills such as edge work, passing, shooting, directional changes, speed, and endurance. Our daughter is now playing D1 hockey for Lake Superior State University and our son has significantly advanced his playing skills as a first year 18u. Time is always a factor in any endeavor, and Ryzer Hockey has found a formula to advance the athletes skills and abilities, in short windows of time with there training, teams, and camps. Highly recommend!

Coach Jimmy has tremendous enthusiasm, a great dedication to purpose and a fine sense of responsibility. I would give Jimmy the highest recommendation in every regard. Your child could not be in a better program!  John Wooden said “a good coach can change a game. A great coach can change a life. Personally, my son has thrived under the leadership of the Ryzer training program. It has been special watching him grow and develop on and off the ice.

My sons, Christian and Johnathan excelled in the Ryzer training program for many years. Both have now reached their college hockey goals because James and his staff taught my boys through the years to play hockey the right way.  To play responsibly. To take ownership for your own gameplay and to enjoy it.  Every training program teaches skills.  James teaches athletes of all ages how to become well rounded hockey players that coaches and teams want on their side.  This has made all the difference for my sons.

We were working with another big box brand for a while, paid a hefty sticker price, then never heard from the group again. James went out of his way on a holiday trip home to stop and meet with us. At the conclusion of our meeting, my son Harrison was ready to join the Ryzer Hockey group to start his real path to collegiate hockey.
